Russia’s 2025 offensives have failed: Ukraine chief

Ukraine’s military chief said that Russia’s spring and summer attacks could not achieve its goals and added that Russia fired twice as much artillery than Ukraine on the battlefield.
“It can be said that the spring and summer campaign of the Russians were effectively deteriorating,” Oleksandr Syrskyi said to journalists.

“This consists of simultaneous use of a large number of small attack groups – in order to penetrate our land as much as possible, the land, valley and forest areas of the four to six soldiers advancing.”
Speaking about a Russian breakthrough near the Donetsk town Donetsk town Dropillia, Syrskyi said that Ukraine called the Kazenyi Torets River in what Ukraine called the “trap”.
The commander said that he had reached 85 military or military-industry facilities, including air bases, warehouses and factories on the Russian territory of Ukraine in the last two months.
