Saddest thing about George, Charlotte and Louis not knowing Harry | Royal | News

In addition to now being a doting father to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, Prince Harry also once cherished his role as uncle to Prince William and Princess Catherine’s three children. Since leaving royal life in early 2022, Harry’s relationship with the royal family has become strained; It was thought that she had not spoken to her brother and aunt for many years.

Due to the broken relationship between Harry and William, the 41-year-old’s once close bond with his nieces and nephews also appears to have suffered. At the time of their departure from royal duties, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were just six, four and one year old.

Because of their very young age, the young trio will likely have few memories of their once doting uncle.

Speaking to the Daily Express, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said that although the children are very young, they will likely be “aware” of their aunts and uncles.

He said: “We know that William has not spoken to Harry for over three years and that the rift remains deep. When one is very young and aware of family problems, there are issues that are not very tactful to bring up. The Uncle Harry issue may be one of them.”

Mr Fitzwilliams added: “Obviously George, Charlotte and Louis were 6, 4 and 1 when Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior royals in early 2020. “They were very young.

“They will no doubt be aware of Harry afterwards and they will probably know or have read that there are serious problems when it comes to their uncle, not to mention Aunt Meghan!!”

He also added that this would probably be a sad reality for everyone, as Harry is known to “get along well with kids.”

The expert explained: “I think it’s impossible not to know about him; he’s very good with children, as we’ve seen when he attends some charity events.”

Following the birth of his nephew in 2015, Harry said he was “very excited” for William and Catherine.
