TV star Savannah Chrisley has announced that she will soon join the ladies of ABC’s daytime talk show “The View,” despite the show’s co-hosts’ past comments against pardoning their parents.
“I’m co-hosting ‘The View’ the week of February 15th, so I’ll be on ‘The View’ all week,” Chrisley announced podcast “Unlocked” on Tuesday. “I’m so excited about this because I like to do things that challenge me. I like to do things that educate me.”
Chrisley admitted that “The View” women have “beaten” her family in the past, but she’s still excited about the opportunity.

“I’m stepping out of my comfort zone by attending a show where there are four or five women who all believe the same way and I believe differently,” she said. “I’m excited for this because I know God’s hand will be on me throughout this entire experience.”
Fox News Digital has reached out to ABC for comment.
Chrisley’s parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley of the reality show “Chrisley Knows Best,” were pardoned by President Donald Trump in May after being convicted in 2022 on federal bank fraud and tax evasion charges. They were previously sentenced to a total of 19 years behind bars.

Women of “The View” had previously criticized the amnesty was announced shortly after.
“According to this administration, ‘if you’re a reality star with a lot of money and you’re evading taxes and committing fraud, then that’s fine. We’ll forgive you,’ co-host Joy Behar said. “But according to this administration, poor people who are on Medicaid or food stamps, those are the real bums in the country and they need to get rid of health or food stamps.”

He added: “Americans need to understand what’s going on. This is what’s happening. Someone like this guy, Chrisley, whatever his name is. I’ve never watched the show. I’ve only seen clips of him hustling to get rich. He’s getting off the hook, but anyone we know needs help isn’t getting help from this administration.”
Ana Navarro, one of the show’s hosts, said the pardons were “unethical” while Sara Haines said they were “not surprising.”
