Scotland fans descend on Miami for clash with Brazil after decimating Boston’s beer supply

Scotland’s Tartan Army brings World Cup excitement and philanthropy to US cities
Known for their passionate support, Scotland’s Tartan Army is leaving a charitable legacy by traveling to US cities ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. They raised more than $21,500 for causes in Rhode Island, including Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Tartan Army member David Hood highlights their friendly approach and epic celebrations.
Fans all over the world have put on some spectacular performances off the pitch this World Cup, but I don’t think we’ve seen anyone steal the show quite like the Tartan Army.
The Scots came to Boston and took over the city like it was 1775 with a pair of games defeating Haiti and defeating Morocco.
Now? They and their outskirts are heading south to take over Miami.

The Scots still have a good chance of advancing to the knockout stage as the third-placed team, but they will have a very tough game against Brazil on Friday.
But fans don’t seem to care who they face on the field; they’re just here to have a good time. And just like in Boston, they started things off by occupying the Major League Baseball stadium.
With that kind of involvement, the Marlins might consider hosting a Scottish Heritage/Tartan Army night every night.

The scenes were truly incredible. Scots can invite anyone to a party, even dogs.
Specifically, social media sensation Goldendoodle Bodie!
That dog was one step away from wearing a skirt and painting his face like William Wallace.
After capturing one stadium, Tartan decided: “We’ll take the rest of Miami, thank you very much.”
What a fan base. And I hope they all have sunscreen with them!
Surely they’re making the most of the World Cup for the first time in 26 years, right?

Scotland hope to progress to the knockout stages by beating Brazil, which will of course be incredibly difficult.

But if victory is unlikely, Scotland have a chance of advancing to the group stage in third place if they are one of the eight best third-placed teams.
The best way for this to happen would be to draw with Brazil.
