Search on for Nigerian women who reportedly ran away from shelter

KOCHI: Kochi City police intensified the search for two foreign nationals allegedly escaped from a shelter in Kakkanad while waiting to be deported. A special investigation team (SIT) was established to watch women – 28 -year -old Cassandra Drammeah from Gambia; and 34 -year -old Senegal, Fathima Codou Fall – fled from Sakhi One Stop Center, a shelter facility under the Women’s Development Department until 19.15 on Friday.
Based on a complaint filed by the Psychosocial Consultant of the Center, a missing lawsuit was registered to the Thrikakara Police Station in accordance with the 57th part of the Kerala Police Law. According to the Fir, the duo managed to escape from the center after pushing the complainant aside.
“SIT, thrikakara inspector and sub -inspector and different police stations from different police stations include members of private operation groups.
In the Women’s Sakhi Center, the Ernakulam Judiciary was hosted based on the order of the first class peace court. The duo was arrested in March last year, even after their visas expired.“They were arrested by a hotel in Ponekkara by the Creranallloor police, where they were illegal. He was sentenced to a fine by the court and slapped them and was ordered to protect them in Sakhi Center until the deportation procedures were completed,” he said.
