Second man arrested over Peacehaven mosque arson attack

A second man was arrested for a swaddle attack on a mosque in East Sussex.
Peacehaven, Phyllis Boulevard, the building on Saturday at 21:50 BST was poorly damaged by fire. Nobody was injured.
On Tuesday, a 25 -year -old man arrested a man who did not have a fixed address on suspicion of arson to endanger life.
A 46 -year -old man from Littlehampton was arrested on Monday afternoon, on suspicion of arson with the intention of putting life on life and was released on bail.
Det Ch Insp Mark Cullimore said: “We believe that there are people who know who is responsible for this terrible and reckless attack in society, and we call on to highlight the information that may be vital for our investigation.

SUPT Rachel Swinney added: “We continue to work with our local religious communities to support them and to make concerns heard and action.
“Sussex police adopts a zero tolerance approach to hate crime and there is no place for hatred in the district.
