Seven baron Stokes to retire in Southern Cross merger

Kerry Stokes plans to retire as the president of Seven West Media at the beginning of 2026, as Radio Network Network Triple M, in the beginning of 2026, united with Southern Cross Media.

Companies announced all scenario agreements on Tuesday, 49.9 percent of the combined group of seven Western shareholders and 50.1 percent of Southern Cross shareholders.

Mr. Stokes will chair the Board of Directors of the Combined Group until February when it will retire and will take over the Southern Cross President Heith Mackay-Cruise.
