“Jeopardy” champ arrested on charges of felony secret peeping

The development engineer from Raleigh was arrested on Dec. 1, according to the Currituck County Sheriff’s Office in Maple, N.C.
Authorities accuse him of “unlawfully, knowingly and criminally” secretly or secretly placing in a room “any device that could be used to create a photographic image, namely a camera placed in a bathroom, for the purpose of capturing the image of others without their consent,” according to the arrest warrant. They claim he committed the crime on October 10.

Court records show a $5,000 bond was posted on Dec. 3.
DeSena’s first hearing is scheduled for Wednesday in Currituck District Court.
