Here’s what happened
It was learned that Venkatesh and his wife Triveni had a love marriage and had two children, a girl and a boy. Later, Venkatesh became suspicious of Triveni, they started fighting and Venkatesh started abusing her. Triveni left Venkatesh and returned to her mother’s house. However, she returned home to Hyderabad after Venkatesh promised that he would change.
On December 24, Venkatesh reportedly attacked his wife in front of their children. He poured gasoline on him and set him on fire. When his daughter tried to save her mother, Venkatesh pushed her into the flames. He ran away from home.
While Triveni was burned alive and killed, her daughter was rescued and suffered minor burns. Upon hearing her screams, her neighbors became alarmed and took the girl to the hospital. Police have now launched a manhunt.
