Sick paedo creates 13 AI images of kids – they looked real | UK | News

A vile sex offender who used artificial intelligence to create indecent sexualised images of children to satisfy his depraved desires has been jailed for four years. Bald Adam Evans, 51, refused to answer police questions in an interview after being framed for making sick content that officers described as “so realistic that it looked real”.

Sex offender Evans, of Harlow, Essex, is subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order after being convicted in October 2019 of attempting to arrange/facilitate the commission of a child sexual offense and causing/encouraging a child to engage in sexual activity.

In September 2025, Essex Police’s Management of Sexual and Violent Offenders (MOSOVO) team were alerted via risk management software on his device that indecent images were being accessed via an AI application.

In total, 13 allegedly sexually explicit images of children were accessed, described by officers as “so realistic” that they could reasonably be perceived as depicting real children.

The 51-year-old man was quickly arrested by officers from Harlow local policing squad. Following an in-depth search, a device that was legally obligated but not registered was found and seized.

He refused to answer any questions at interview but pleaded guilty to nine counts of taking an indecent photograph/alleged photograph of a child when he appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court on Monday, October 6, 2025.

He was taken into custody and on Friday, May 15, Jeroundslu Evans was sentenced to seven years in prison at the same court. He was sentenced to four years in prison and given a further three years on license extension.

MOSOVO officer Jai Rivers said in a statement following Evans’ sentencing: “Using artificial intelligence to create indecent images of children is a criminal offense and Evans was rightfully punished for this offence.”

“This immoral use of artificial intelligence is taken as seriously as the use of real photographs.

“Criminals who consider engaging in such activities will be caught and face the full consequences of their actions.

“As well as ensuring perpetrators are brought to justice, it is vital that everyone understands what to do if they come across a deepfake image.

“Our partnership with BT and EE offers practical advice on AI and gives you a simple tool to report and remove fake explicit images.”
