Taylor Swift ‘secretly jets 3,500 miles to film music video in Croydon shopping centre with famous pals’

Taylor Swift reportedly secretly flew 3,500 miles to film a music video at a shopping mall in Croydon.
The 35-year-old global superstar was allegedly in the UK this week on a top-secret mission and filmed the video with her famous friends.
Taylor flew ‘from New Jersey to Hampshire’ by private jet last weekend, and it was reported that the likes of Lewis Capaldi and Domhnall Gleeson also participated in the filming.
But strangely one of the filming locations is said to be the partially abandoned Whitgift shopping center in Croydon.
A source told Sun: ‘This video was kept secret as Taylor’s security team worked around the clock to ensure she was never seen. It was like a military operation.
‘But she’s the most powerful woman in pop, so if she wants to be invisible, she’ll make it happen.’

The Daily Mail has contacted Taylor’s representatives for comment.
The top secret shoot is allegedly for her hit song Elizabeth Taylor. The pop star wants to shoot in London, especially to pay tribute to the famous star’s British roots.
The singer dedicated the second song from his latest album to Elizabeth, making many references to the late screen icon in the lyrics.
According to reports last week, Taylor planned to pay tribute to Elizabeth by including her hometown in her music video.
The acting legend, known for her roles in Cleopatra, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, was born in Hampstead, North London, in 1932 and moved to Los Angeles when she was seven.
A source told Sun: ‘Taylor is so excited to be back in London to shoot her new music video. Elizabeth Taylor is a British icon and Taylor wants to pay homage by filming scenes in the capital.
‘Taylor has always written about her love for London and the video will cover different parts of the city.’
The song titled Elizabeth Taylor is full of references to the famous actress; There is mention of ‘white diamonds’, a reference to her famous ‘purple eyes’ and a reference to her 1991 fragrance of the same name.

Taylor also draws parallels between his own romantic past and Elizabeth’s problems in her love life; It is known that the famous starlet had at least eight marriages with seven different men.
Taylor sings ‘I’ve been number one but I’ve never had two’, referencing their shared success in showbiz (implying that she’s number one), but without the ‘two’, with a partner to share it with.
The piece also features the Italian seaside town ‘View of Portofino’, one of the screen icon’s favorite getaways, and the TV series Hotel Plaza Athénée in Paris, which hosted Elizabeth and Richard as frequent guests.
Taylor also said that ‘Portofino Orange’ was the color of the Showgirl era and that she often used the bright color in subsequent shows of her Eras tour, which ended last December.
Eras artist recently explained the meaning of the song Z100 radio interview.
He explained: ‘There’s a song on this record called Elizabeth Taylor; ‘This song describes my feelings and issues with fame through the lens of cosplaying Elizabeth Taylor’s life, so you’re kind of bringing the two experiences together.’
Taylor expressed her admiration for the late legend, adding: ‘He was someone I always looked up to as a very glamorous, very well-liked person, but for some reason he was a polarizing figure. [I’ve] I found myself there too.’
As Swifties will know, her latest album Blank Space isn’t the first album the hitmaker has referenced Elizabeth.
Taylor previously paid homage to the mid-century movie star aesthetic in the music video for Wildest Dreams.
And on the 2018 Reputation album, Ready For It? The song ‘Burton to my Taylor’ made a direct reference to Elizabeth’s famously tumultuous romance with actor Richard Burton.
