Four dead including gunman after shooting in Texas

A 21-year-old man shot and killed three co-workers at a landscaping supply company in Texas, then died after shooting himself, police said.

Two men and a woman were killed in a shooting at a business in north San Antonio, according to the city’s police department.

Other employees fled the scene when gunshots were heard, KSAT-TV reported.

Authorities said police intervened in the incident, secured the area, and hours later found the gunman with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

He was identified by police as Jose Hernandez Galo.

Although the reason for the attack is not yet known, Police Chief William McManus said that the attack was not random.

Separately, five people were injured, one seriously, in a shooting outside a supermarket in San Francisco.

Police responded to gunshots and found multiple victims near Safeway in the Outer Richmond neighborhood.

One person with life-threatening injuries and 4 of the non-life-threatening injured were taken to hospital.

Police Capt. Kevin Lee told the San Francisco Chronicle that the attack stemmed from a fight.

There were no arrests and investigators did not immediately release suspicious information.

The armed attack caused the surrounding people to disperse.

Tommy Corcoran, 19, told the Chronicle that he hid behind a log in Golden Gate Park after hearing gunshots and seeing people running.

“This type of violence does not represent who we are as a city, and we will never tolerate it,” San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie said in a statement. he said.
