SRH captain Cummins Fined Rs 12 Lakhs For Slow Over Rate

Ahmedabad: Sunrisers’ Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins was fined for excessive slowing of play against Gujarat Titans in an IPL match here. Cummins was fined 12 lakh rupees.

“As this was his team’s first offense of the season under Article 2.22 of the IPL Code of Conduct, which deals with minimum overrate offences, Cummins was fined INR 12 lakh,” the IPL said in a statement.

SRH suffered a crushing 82-run defeat against GT at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Tuesday night. Chasing GT’s 168 for five, SRH recovered with a paltry score of 86 in 14.5 overs.
