SRM University-AP Launches AI-Integrated PG Courses

Vijayawada: SRM University-AP, Amaravati has launched AI integrated Master’s Programme. Economics and MA Psychology programs, which were the first such postgraduate courses launched by the institution.

SRMU-AP Vice Rector Prof. Ch. Satish Kumar said Easwari School of Liberal Arts (ESLA) is reimagining programs for the age of artificial intelligence with emphasis on interdisciplinary learning, research, hands-on training and technology-based applications.

He said eligible students will be offered scholarships and tuition discounts of up to 100 percent.

Dr Boddu Srujana, M.Sc. The Economics program combines economic theory with artificial intelligence, data science and computational methods, offering specializations in Finance and Data Science or Development and Policy.

Dr Ayesha Parveen Haroon said the Psychology program focuses on AI-based applications in mental health, organization and education sectors. Flexible one-year and two-year programs will be available for graduates from a variety of academic fields, including engineering.

Dean Prof. Vishnupad said artificial intelligence is being embedded deeply into the curriculum rather than being treated as an additional course. He described the launch as a milestone for ESLA.
