The show’s professional dancers will perform a special Halloween-themed show this weekend

Fright night in the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom!

The stars are gearing up for the competition’s annual Halloween Week on Saturday night with songs from Charli XCX, Lady Gaga and Benson Boone.

This is one of a series of themed weeks that take place each year; others are Movies, Blackpool, Musicals and Icons.

After presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced last week that they would be leaving at the end of the current series, speculation continues to mount as to who will replace them.

Fans outside Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire suggested the likes of Alesha Dixon, Zoe Ball and Alison Hammond new homeowners whenever possible.

This year’s Strictly grand finale takes place on December 20, and the BBC has said the Christmas Day special will be Winkleman and Daly’s final appearance.

During last week’s showThe pair nodded off to news of their departure, thanking viewers for their “beautiful messages”.

This weekend will also see a special performance from Celebrity Traitors star Cat Burns, who will appear in the results show on Sunday night.

Professional dancers’ Halloween routine was pre-recorded earlier this week

Last week the Emmerdale star Lewis Cope After Johnny Cash Quickstep impressed the jury, his dance partner Katya Jones continued his lead with 34 points.

La Voix She sparked laughter by belting out Cher’s Believe before diving into Salsa towards Strong Enough. The judges noted there was room for improvement, but praised La Voix’s charisma on the dance floor.

Other highlights included a dance that lifted your mood. Ellie Goldstein and her partner Vito Coppola, who punches in a dynamic Salsa to the Spice Girls medley. Goldstein even received a heartwarming video message from his favorite Spice Girl Baby.

Lewis Cope and Katya Jones achieved the highest score of the night last Saturday with 34 points.

But it finally happened Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and her partner Lauren Oakley, who left the competition, after a dance performance. Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin.

This Saturday night, the remaining couples will undergo terrifying transformations as they perform routines that they hope will win over the judges and viewers at home.

We can also expect judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke to get into the Halloween spirit, with all eyes focused on what costumes they might choose.

Halloween week is also a turning point as the sixth week is almost halfway through the competition.

Fans can expect to enjoy the many tricks and treats that vampires, zombies and skeletons have to offer.

But as always, the couple whose performance didn’t quite wow will be sent off during the results show on Sunday night.

Strictly Come Dancing airs live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 6.35pm.
