Perth Council elections: Fremantle candidates pledge to hand back council pay if elected

Council payments are not among the fields of candidates looking for elections next month.
This year’s election will also see that the number of council positions has fallen from 11 to nine as part of the state government reforms.
Most eyes will be in war for the best work of the city, and the current mayor Hannah Fitzhardinge is looking for a second time in five fields with existing two councilors and a former member.
Current Mayor Jenny Archibald and current councilor Ben Lawver nominated for former parliamentary member Marija Vujcic. Mark Woodcock is the fifth candidate.
Mrs. Fitzhardinge says that she can “run and hit the ground.”
“Fremantle people want results, they want originality, and most importantly people tell me that they want a full -time mayor to wake up and defend society,” Cr Lawver said.
Both the members of the Assembly Archibald and Lawver have ended this year and were not re -elected as a council member.
CR Archibald said the city believes that the city could be better for residents and businesses.
“My focus point will be to work with Fremant to enlarge our community, and everything that makes us freo,” he said.
Cr Lawver said he wanted to give priority to the protection of inheritance buildings, a more practical support for creative arts, a compassionate approach to the homelessness crisis and the protection of inheritance buildings.

“If elected, I will be a full -time mayor of 100 percent, and I will focus on giving the best results for our port city,” he said.
Mr. Woodcock said that Fremantle deserves a member of the Assembly that “puts society in front of personal politics or activism”.
“While providing the Council accountability, I am determined to protect Fremantle’s legacy, tree shadows, parks and coastline,” he said.
Vujcic was a member of parliament from 2013 to 2019, and if he was elected, he will donate the mayor for a youth homelessness center, Sporting Club upgrades and inheritance projects.
Earlier this year, the controversial refunds Court rejected his complaint about addressing the 2023 Council elections.

“I will focus on basic information: CPI-that ratio increases, better roads, garbage, parks and lighting, business garbage services and notre Dame rental and a 10-dollar round home tourist fee restoring new revenues,” he said.
Mrs. Vujcic also nominated the position of a coastal ward council member and also promised to donate this scholarship when elected. He runs against Andrew Sullivan and Selwyn Castles.
East Ward nominated Nick Everett, Brendan Moore, Sally Mckay and Pip Slaughter.

Mr. Everett is his Palestinian WA secretary and plans to control the investments of the city to ensure that it is “genocide”. Mrs. McKay said that he would donate the council payment to community groups that were “forgotten” in the Eastern ward.
In North Ward, Tyler Ray, Melanie Clark, Mark Woodcock and PJ Yates first nominated CR Doug Thompson, who was first selected in 1988.
Mr. Ray also refers to the Gaza conflict in the election statement, saying that he supports the “boycott, disposed of and sanctioning movements”.
CR Fedele was not assigned to the central ward.
