Stopping Collingwood Magpie’s slide is Craig McRae’s biggest test yet
“You expect a certain effort [and] I was disappointed with him. This is definitely something we’re going to call, Mc said Mcrae.
The 46 score was the lowest kick when Collingwood’s coach was the coach, but for a team known for its pressure and connection, it was higher than the number of struggles of 42.
McRAE said he hoped that such a lack of such effort was an anomalia. The focus will be the system and the process.
Mcrae, “they are glued together by the system, and then there is a great effort, then we are fine, but not tonight,” he said.
He detected helplessness in his efforts rather than belief in the system. Instead of staying with a nail, he suspected that they were thinking about something. He wondered why experienced players made stupid mistakes.
The smiles went, but McRAE’s house theories remained. As usual, they are fascinating, but they don’t seem convincing right now.

McRAE, ‘Kanga’ Kennedy ‘thinking, entered a modern version of Yap.
McRAE, “When you start to think of the result and expectation, you do not think, you think. We want them to play,” he said.
“Nothing is permanent, nothing is permanent. I never believed in the form.
“You are judging us about our consequences, we judge ourselves in this process. We took our system back, served us well.”

Right. The system served them well. But something broke the flow. The aim of the players does not seem so clear. Collingwood is vulnerable. The coach doesn’t believe in trust, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t. He even talked about his trust that they could reverse things. However, there is no place to be seen in Magpie Land right now, nor does not have to be heard.
As for the Hawks, making the opposition have such a low score brings them back in their Premiership calculations.
Hawthorn coach Sam Mitchell said, “I think it is important for us to keep a powerful side like Collingwood with a really low score and gives us defensive confidence,” he said.
