Strictly’s Amber Davies reveals her boyfriend Ben Joyce’s reaction to her romance rumours with partner Nikita Kuzmin after he was pictured kissing her on the forehead

Amber Davies has revealed that boyfriend Ben Joyce is unimpressed by speculation about his close relationship with professional partner Nikita Kuzmin.

The former Love Island winner, 29, was photographed in a warm embrace with Ukrainian pro Nikita, 27, during a break in rehearsals on Friday.

While sources claimed that Amber and Nikita’s chemistry was rumored behind the scenes, the artist insisted that he would not fall victim to the show’s infamous curse.

Amber insisted she wasn’t ‘fed up’ by Ben’s famous Strictly curse speech and also said he was close to Nikita’s girlfriend Lauren Jaine.

He said: ‘The only good thing is that Ben isn’t a ****.

‘So I feel like I can brush it off as it doesn’t affect us in any way, which is nice. So that horizontal Ben.’

Amber continued to explain Sun: ‘I love Lauren Nikita’s girlfriend very much. I text him all the time. All day, every day. Lauren spends more time with me than with her boyfriend. He actually came to my dressing room before going to see Nikita. [the other day]. ‘I stole it.’

Amber previously told the Daily Mail that she and Nikita quickly formed a close bond, with them only having hours to learn their first routine after the actress replaced Dani Dyer at the last minute following an ankle injury.

The star avoided a shock early exit during Sunday’s results show, when all four judges opted to keep Amber in the competition against Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, the latest celebrity to leave the series.

A source close to Amber told the Daily Mail: ‘Everyone thought Amber would panic and worry at the dance competition but that’s not the case.

‘He wasn’t surprised at all that it was there. Definitely this is an entertainment show and it is everyone’s game. In fact, I had a feeling he would be in the bottom two on Saturday.

‘But he goes into this week feeling positive. There’s no anxiety or panic in her and she’s still really enjoying her Strictly experience.

‘For Amber, it was never about winning the show; ‘He works hard, he is humble and he feels particularly grateful for all the support he has received from the theater community.’

Sources close to Amber have denied any allegations of a behind-the-scenes romance with Nikita; The star also revealed that he is close friends with girlfriend Lauren Jaine.

Amber said joining Strictly at the last minute accelerated the close bond she shares with dance partner Nikita.

Describing her first pre-show advice, Amber said: ‘Nikita always told me to look into my eyes. We had only known each other for 24 hours.

‘It happened so quickly, it was like we skipped a million steps and had to trust and connect with each other right away and luckily we are basically male and female versions of each other and we clicked immediately.’
