Study Tirumala Land Allocation Policy for Yadagirigutta: Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy here on Tuesday asked the authorities concerned to examine so that the same policy adopted by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) in allotment of land in Tirumala can be implemented in Yadagirigutta as well.
Attending a meeting to review the development of Yadagirigutta temple at MCRHRD Bodhi Pavilion here, he said the land should be allotted to Hare Rama Hare Krishna Foundation at market price.
A policy regarding land allocation should be established on various issues. A policy with clear rules on land allocation to caste groups should be prepared. He asked officials to review the policy adopted by TTD for allotment of land in Tirumala, saying land ownership rights should remain with the temple.
Revanth Reddy said that a list of prominent people should be prepared for the construction of a guesthouse on the hill. Permission should be given to the phased guesthouse construction. Tirumala model should be followed in the construction of guest houses.
Funds should be sanctioned immediately for land acquisition, he said, adding that the report given by the Engineers Committee on the construction of Yadagiri hill temple should be studied and a report should be submitted within a week. A public-private based tourism circuit should be created.
