Temperatures continued to rise throughout the night! As we begin a milder day, some regions are waking up to temperatures around 50° early this morning. Most of our Christmas Eve will be mostly sunny and windy, with temperatures topping out in the 40s. We stay dry for Christmas Eve services as clouds begin to increase Wednesday night.

A fast-moving system will sweep through the area on Christmas morning, bringing only brief showers or showers, then skies will begin to clear Thursday afternoon. Clear skies play a key role in Friday’s wintry mix. Clear skies will allow temperatures to drop into the 20s Thursday night through Friday. With clouds forming Friday morning, I predict temperatures will remain below freezing for most of Friday.
