Suspected illegal immigrant allegedly sent nude photos to minor boy in Texas

A suspected illegal immigrant was arrested Thursday in Texas for allegedly sending nude photos to a 12-year-old boy, authorities said.
Susanna Mendoza, 26, of Jasper, is accused of sending “nude photos and vulgar messages” to the boy in an attempt to “sexually seduce” him, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office said.
According to the sheriff’s office, the boy’s parents learned of the messages and immediately contacted authorities.
The identity of the boy, who is now 13 years old, has not yet been released.

It was unclear how Mendoza and the boy knew each other.
Mendoza faces a second-degree felony charge of solicitation of a minor. He was being held in the Jasper County Jail.

Sheriff Chuck Havard said Jasper County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Calvin Starkie had to “work extremely quickly” to capture Mendoza because he was believed to be an illegal immigrant and was threatened to flee the country.
Mendoza was booked into the Jasper County jail, according to the sheriff’s office. (Jasper County Sheriff’s Office)
