MLB news: Braves’ Brian Snitker out as manager 4 years after World Series

Atlanta Braves announced that the manager Brian Snitker will take a consulting role with the team on Wednesday.

69 -year -old Snitker finished his ninth season of Braves and 49th in the organization.

The team said that the organization will put Snitker in the Braves Honor List before a match next season.

In 2021, Snitker helped to take Braves to the title of fourth world series of Franchise against Houston Astros in 2021. He won 811 in his career and won six National League Eastern championships and played in the 10 seasons of the management of the 10 seasons after seven seasons.

In May 2016, Braves elected Snitker’s temporary managers and hired it as a full -time manager at the end of the season. Snitker broke the 811-668 record during his term of office and won more as a manager in the history of franchisees in Bobby Cox (2,149) and Frank Selee (1,004).

Snitker first joined the Braves organization as an unprepared free agent in 1977. 1,301-1,309’a will go to the small leagues for 20 seasons. Single-A Myrtle Beach won the manager of the year in 1999 and 2000.

In 2018, he won the National League Manager of the year with Braves and became the finalist for four times during his term of office.

Braves came 76-86 this season and the National League fourth in the East. It was the second worst season under Snitker’s term of office, and since 2017 they missed the playoffs for the first time.

Braves is now the eighth team looking for a manager who is looking for next season.
