T-Fiber Wins SKOCH Award 2026, Presents Honour to Minister D. Sridhar Babu
Telangana Fiber Grid Corporation (T-Fiber), which received the prestigious SKOCH Award 2026 for its contribution to digital inclusion and e-governance, presented the honor to IT and Industry Minister D. Sridhar Babu during a meeting.
The T-Fiber team briefed the minister on their journey to win the award and highlighted their role in bridging the digital divide by providing high-speed broadband connectivity to rural and underserved areas. The initiative has enabled digital education in government schools, supported AI-based learning and expanded connectivity to Raithu Vedikas to improve citizen and agricultural services.
Appreciating the efforts, the minister said the award reflects the vision of Prime Minister A. Revanth Reddy and the government’s commitment to inclusive digital transformation. He directed officials to step up service delivery and provide reliable broadband access to all households in the state.
SKOCH Award 2026 recognizes Telangana’s continuous efforts towards building a digitally connected and future-ready society.
