Major cruise holidays operator announces 3 brand new ships: ‘Just the | World | News
Cruise ship enthusiasts are in for a treat. Trafalgar has announced plans to add a third river cruise ship to its portfolio in 2027. The escorted land tour specialist, part of TTC Tour Brands, began selling the first itineraries in May this year for two ships, Trafalgar Reverie and Trafalgar Verity, which will sail the Rhine and Danube rivers from spring 2026.
Trafalgar is a UK-based travel company specializing in escorted tours and holiday experiences around the world. Over the years, the company has expanded its offerings to include river cruises, combining the comfort of modern ships with the exploration of iconic European waterways. Speaking at this year’s ABTA Travel Convention, TTC Tour Brands managing director Kelly Jackson described this as “just the beginning” of the company’s river cruise programme.
He said: “Trafalgar has a loyal fan base and they want to continue traveling with us, so we needed to offer other ways to travel.
“We recently launched the river cruise with Trafalgar and we want to make the journey through the streets of the Alps as seamless as it is on the rivers.
“We have two river ships about to be launched in 2026 and a third about to be launched in 2027, so this is just the beginning.

Trafalgar’s first two river ships, Trafalgar Reverie and Trafalgar Verity, will sail the Rhine and Danube rivers from next spring. The program includes Christmas cruises. Danube cruise that takes passengers through Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary. The Rhine cruise takes passengers to Switzerland, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
