Four arrested after Christmas Day brawl at UK beauty spot | UK | News

Four people have been detained following reports of a Christmas Day fight and a shooting and stabbing in the Peak District.
Derbyshire Police were called to Bradwell Lea in Gamesley, near Glossop, at 4.20pm on Thursday, December 25, after receiving reports a man had been assaulted. reported the Manchester Evening News.
The victim, a teenage boy, was taken to hospital with serious head trauma and was described as being in serious condition this evening.
A second male, also a teenager, presented himself to Glossop police station a short time later with stab wounds to his abdomen. It was later learned that the condition of the person who was taken to the hospital was stable.
Police confirmed that security cameras at the scene showed a firearm being discharged. But none of the men taken to the hospital suffered gunshot wounds, and authorities do not believe anyone suffered gunshot wounds.
Three men and a woman were arrested in connection with the incident after armed officers attacked a property in Hollins Close, Gamesley. It has now been learned that all those involved in the incident have been caught.
While the investigation is still in its early stages, it is believed the victims and suspects knew each other and there is no wider threat to the public from those involved. A Derbyshire Police spokesman added: “We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, particularly anyone who has CCTV, mobile phone or dashcam footage.”
