Following the comments, an aide to the socialist mayor reportedly dismissed ABC executives and said Haines’ remarks could affect the mayor or candidates running for Congress from appearing on the show in the future, Semafor reported, quoting a person familiar with the matter.
An ABC source said “The View” is not known for arranging political interviews with unelected candidates.

Leavitt made this statement while participating in a program. “Jesse Watters Primetime” on Thursday.
“This generation, my generation, I hate to say it, Gen Z and those younger than me, grew up with nothing but silver spoons in their mouths, everything was handed to them. That’s not the values this country was built on,” he said while discussing the rise of socialist candidates in the country.

Watters asked Leavitt whether this was due to laziness or the country’s education, and he said “somewhat.”
“This is laziness and liberal doctrine,” he continued.
