Iran says it would resume nuclear talks if US guaranteed no further attacks – Middle East crisis live | Iran

According to the state media, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas AraghchiHe said on Saturday that his country would be willing to re -interact in nuclear talks with Washington.

During the summer, Araghchi served as a chief negotiator in nuclear talks with the United States and launched a surprise attack, including Natanz nuclear site and ballistic missile areas after Israel launched a surprise attack on Iran’s nuclear areas on June 13th.

Araghchi, who referred to the 12 -day Israel bombardment of Iran’s nuclear and military fields and the US air strike on June 22, wants to continue to meet with Iran:

First of all, there must be a definite guarantee that such actions will not be repeated. The attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities made it difficult and complex to achieve a solution based on negotiations.

Both Iran and the United States hit Iran’s nuclear facilities in June, but the Iran did not destroy the nuclear program of the attack early Pentagon intelligence assessment, probably returned for several months.

Claiming that Iran’s nuclear facilities have been completely destroyed in attacks, the Trump administration insists that Iran cannot be allowed to have nuclear weapons.

Following the air strikes, Iran suspended cooperation with the UN Nuclear WatchmanInternational Atomic Energy AgencyY (IAEA), which led to the separation of the inspectors.

Iran says it has not developed nuclear weapons and that the enrichment of uranium is for peaceful purposes.

Iran continues a fragile ceasefire with the US and Israel, but there is a risk that the crisis will enter more war unless there is a diplomatic agreement soon.
