Fergie ‘could be called to testify in front of Congress’ on links to Epstein claims royal expert – who says her ‘greed has no bounds’

Sarah Ferguson could be called to testify before Congress about her close friendship with pedophile Jeffery Epstein, a royal expert has claimed, claiming the money-obsessed royal family’s ‘greed knows no bounds’.

This week, documents from the so-called Epstein files revealed that the former Duchess of York visited the disgraced financier with her daughters just days after he was released from prison for child sex offending.

Other emails showed Ms Ferguson tried to set up her ‘single’ friend, who had a ‘great body’, with Epstein, despite knowing of his criminal convictions. In flirty messages between the pair, the Duchess was also seen calling the pedophile a ‘legend’ and his ‘support’.

While the former royal has not been seen in public since December (her whereabouts are unknown) royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams claimed she could be brought forward to testify at the convention.

In the latest part of the Epstein files, a photo of Sarah Ferguson next to a woman whose identity has been changed was published.

He told the Daily Mail: ‘It could happen anywhere. No one knows where she is, but it’s clear that day by day we’re getting pretty clear evidence that she and Andrew were in cahoots with Epstein.

‘It is also possible that he will be asked to testify before Congress. All their emails point to a much closer relationship than we thought. ‘His greed knows no bounds.’

The royal expert said Ms Ferguson’s relationship with Epstein would be motivated by her need for an extravagant lifestyle.

She added: ‘She swore at the time that she was not in contact with Epstein and we now know that was not true and that she spoke about him in the most loving terms.

‘We now know from the evidence that he and Sarah held hands because Sarah liked having royalty around her and, according to her, Epstein was helping her with money.

‘Money is at the heart of this business, there is no doubt about that. Andrew and Sarah Ferguson wanted a certain lifestyle and surrounded themselves with questionable friends.

‘Epstein was not only undesirable, he was also a pedophile and it didn’t seem to change anything for him.’

Royal author Phil Dampier echoed Mr Fiztwilliam’s claims; He even went so far as to suggest that Ms. Ferguson would introduce her then-husband to Epstein.

She told the Daily Mail: ‘From what I understand, she was probably the person who introduced Andrew to Epstein. I’m sure Andrew’s attraction was sex and Fergie’s was money. He would spend the money as soon as he received it.

‘He doesn’t have the ability to keep money and so someone like him from whom he could get money would always lead him astray, like a fake sheikh.

‘It was pure madness to show how desperate he was and how disconnected he was from reality, to go see him and take his daughters after he was convicted. But I’m afraid he’s always had this reckless attitude and now he’s come home to roost.’

Ms. Ferguson’s name appeared hundreds of times in three million pages of documents published on the Department of Justice’s website.

Dozens of emails showed the extent of Fergie’s relationship with Epstein over the years; even after he became a juvenile delinquent.

She fawned over Epstein, who was known to have paid some of his debts, called him a ‘legend’ and later joked that they should get married.

Other emails he sent her mention his daughter Eugenie’s sex life and reveal Fergie took her children to lunch with the convicted pedophile when they were teenagers.

The Mail also today revealed an email from Ms Ferguson suggesting Epstein had a secret child. The former Duchess of York also accused him of abandoning her in 2011 and said it was “very clear” he was the only friend she had who could get close to her ex-husband Andrew.

If called to testify before Congress, he would join former president Bill Clinton, who this week agreed to testify before the House Oversight Committee as part of the investigation into the convicted sex offender.

The decision comes just days before lawmakers are set to vote on whether the Clintons can be held in criminal contempt for repeatedly avoiding calls to testify before Congress.
