Insider shares health update, veteran superstar is ‘better than earlier’

Dharmendra, who was recently discharged from Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, is currently in stable condition and is recovering at home. A person close to the family told NDTV that the veteran superstar’s condition is better than before. “He’s good, better than before,” an insider was quoted as saying.

In early November, Dharmendra was hospitalized after experiencing shortness of breath. He was admitted to the intensive care unit and also became the victim of a death fraud; but Bollywood’s ‘He-Man’ was a success and he was discharged on 12 November. After the actor was discharged and taken home, his cousin and filmmaker Guddu Dhanoa visited him. Making a brief speech to the media gathered outside Dharmendra’s house in Juhu, Guddu said that the actor’s condition was stable and added that he could not comment further as he was not aware of many details.

Sunny Deol’s PR team also released a statement soon after Dharmendra was discharged from the hospital. “Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We request the media and the public to avoid further speculation at this time and respect his and his family’s privacy,” the statement said.

Dr. from the hospital Rajiv Sharma, in an exclusive conversation with IANS, shared that the legendary star returned home “completely satisfied” after receiving the necessary treatment. Sharing an update on the actor’s health condition, he said, “Dharmendra ji left the hospital with great satisfaction. His family took him home. Everything was arranged for him.”

“His condition is stable. I request the public not to spread false news, instead pray for his recovery so that he can celebrate his next birthday with pride,” the doctor said.
