Millionaire with two wives who threatened to gang rape and set alight Virgin stewardess has his jail term TRIPLED to four years after public outcry

A weather-raging thug who threatened to gang-rape and murder first-class cabin crew on a flight from London has had his prison sentence increased by three years.
Salman Iftikhar, 38, was originally sentenced to just 15 months in prison but will now serve a sentence of four years and three months.
The wealthy recruitment consultant was drunk when he launched a vile tirade of abuse towards Virgin Atlantic staff on a flight from Heathrow to his hometown of Lahore in Pakistan.
Passengers on the flight watched in horror as the thug repeatedly called attendant Angie Walsh a ‘fucking bitch’ at 39,000ft.
In August, Daily Mail revealed that Iftikhar had two wives. One of them is Pakistani model and actor Abeer Rizvi, who has more than 500,000 followers on TikTok.
He is also married to 38-year-old Erum Salman and has three children. Erum was listed as an executive at some of her husband’s companies.
The father-of-three, whose business collapsed due to debts worth £17 million, later threatened to blow up the five-star hotel where his cabin crew would be staying.
Iftikhar’s first sentence sparked claims of ‘two-track justice’ after Lucy Connolly, who tweeted about the Southport riots, was sentenced to 31 months in prison.
However, his prison sentence was increased significantly today after he was referred to the Court of Appeal for consideration under the Extreme Leniency Scheme.

Attorney General Ellie Reeves said today: ‘Salman Iftikhar made horrific threats of rape and violence against an airman who was simply doing his job.
‘His tirade of hatred and abuse caused distress and anguish throughout the entire flight and all our thoughts today must be with the cabin crew and passengers who suffered from Iftikhar’s despicable behaviour.
‘I hope this brings comfort and a sense of justice to those affected and underlines that our criminal justice system works for victims and vulnerable people.’
Isleworth Crown Court heard Iftikhar left Ms Walsh ‘hurt’ and ‘traumatised’ by announcing she would be dragged from her hotel room and assaulted.
The businessman was drinking champagne and was trying to fight with another butler.
In the clip of one of 100 shouts made by Iftikhar during the trip, he can be heard repeatedly accusing Ms Walsh of being a racist and saying: ‘You called me an asshole in front of everyone.’
This all happened in front of Iftikhar’s wife and children, who were crying and begging him to stop, and he had to be consoled by the cabin crew as he continued to shout profanities throughout the entire flight.
Iftikhar keeps a number of expensive cars, including a Range Rover, Bentley and Rolls-Royce, in the garage of his £2million mansion in Iver, Buckinghamshire
Iftikhar was later arrested at his detached home in Iver, Buckinghamshire, and admitted making threats to kill and aggravated racist abuse.
The Extreme Leniency Scheme allows anyone to ask for a Crown Court decision to be reviewed by the Attorney-General (AGO).
If officers think the sentence is unduly lenient, they can ask the Court of Appeal to review the sentence.
It is then up to the judges to decide whether the original sentence was appropriate.
