Apple will release the next major software update as of September 15th. The update was first announced in June at the Apple’s worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) and has been available in developer and public beta versions since then.
The iPhone 17 Series will be sent in advance with iOS 26 and many old iPhone models will be suitable for update.
iOS 26: main features
• Adapted power mode: Extends battery life with performance adjustments. Only iPhone 15 Pro models and newer, iPhone 15 pro, 15 pro, 15 pro max, 16e, 16, 16 plus, 16 pro, 16 pro max and the new iPhone 17 series.
• Liquid glass design: A stylish interface in which controls, icons, widgets, menus and buttons look almost completely transparent for a refined look.
• Home screen and lock screen customization: It has more personalization options for a floating dock and widget and wallpapers.
• Camera application Renewal: A new slide offers two basic modes: photo and video.
• Live Call Translation: Real -time sound translation with transcription makes cross -language calls more accessible.
• Visual intelligence: Call directly on your screen with content using advanced AI, interact with questions and content.
• Message improvements: New backgrounds, chat privatizations and interactive surveys to make conversations more interesting.
• Live translation: Translation between messages, facetime and languages in phone calls and communicate.
