47 -year -old Ethan’s grandfather Michael Ives and 46 -year -old grandmother Kerry Ives, after a hearing in Mold Crown Court, were convicted of murder.

Ethan’s mother, Shahannon Ives, 28 -year -old Shannon Ives of Mold, was found guilty of causing or allowing a child to cause or persecute a child.

Michael and Kerry Ives were also found guilty of causing or creating a child’s death and cruelty to a child.

While the decisions were announced, Shannon and Kerry Ives looked forward as they started in front of Michael Ives.

Speaking with Michael and Kerry Ives, Judge Justice Griffiths said it was just a “sentence for the murder and this is a life imprisonment.”

“I have to consider the minimum term you need to serve before considering the release of the license, which will be after many years.” He said.

“When it comes to Shannon Ives, an important prison sentence is almost certain, and the punishment is unlikely that the punishment will immediately be anything other than custody.”

During a seven -week hearing, the jury heard a 13 -minute call to the ambulance service by Kerry IVS on August 14, 2021, and said that Ethan had collapsed while watching television.

Michael Ives heard that he said, “It looks like he’s asleep.” The search ended when the medical officials came home.

In a few clips, he was seen lying next to him and fell over and over again, although he stood up.
