Jill Biden admits President Biden would not have been able to serve another four years

Former First Lady Jill Biden said in an interview Tuesday that her husband, the former President, Joe BidenHe would not be able to serve in the military for another four years due to his cancer diagnosis.

“Appearance” co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin asked Jill Biden if her husband would be in a good place to serve another four years in the White House.

“As far as I know right now, no,” Biden said. “Oh my God. Who knew? It was so shocking to get the cancer diagnosis. So, here I was, looking through travel magazines like, ‘Oh, where are we going to go? What are we going to do?’ And then we got the cancer diagnosis and I thought, what am I doing? It’s like our whole life has changed now. It was just shocking.”

Earlier in the day, Jill Biden told MS NOW’s “Morning Joe” that she doesn’t know if she can serve a second term.

“The diagnosis was made in May of 2025, and given the president’s current health condition, would he have been able to serve as president had he continued his re-election bid, had he been re-elected? Would he have been forced to resign?” MS NOW host Jonathan Lemire asked Biden.

The former First Lady responded, “I don’t know, I don’t know the answer to that.”

Jill Biden publishes a new book Tuesday titled “View from the East Wing: A Memoir.”

She also claimed that her husband would have beaten Trump in the race when asked during the “Morning Joe” interview if she thought Joe would have beaten the current president if he had stayed in the race.

“I believe he will win Donald Trump in that election,” said Jill Biden.

Joe Biden was asked in an interview in 2025 whether he would consider another term in the White House.

“Do you think you have the strength to stay in office for another four years?” Susan Page of USA Today asked this question at the time.

“I don’t know,” Biden said. “So when I first made the announcement, I thought I was talking to Barack. [Obama] I said that I thought that person was me in this regard. I didn’t intend to chase after you. [my son] Beau is dead; Really, no joke. “And then when Trump was running for re-election, I really thought I had the best chance to beat him.”

The former First Lady gave interviews to various publications before the publication of the book, and during this interview, she admitted that she was worried about former President Biden having a stroke during the debate against President Donald Trump in June 2024.

When asked about what happened during the argument, he said, “I don’t know what happened.” CBS interview last week. “So, as I was watching him, I thought, ‘Oh my God, he’s having a stroke,’ and it scared the hell out of me.”

But immediately after the debate, the then-First Lady praised her husband’s performance in front of fans.

The debate sparked a chain panic in the Democratic Party that led to the president withdrawing from the 2024 race. He was replaced by Vice President as the Democratic nominee Kamala Harristhe one who went on to lose the general election.
