Head Constable honoured for rescue of woman in Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills floods

The TaLangana Human Rights Commission honored President P. Sridhar for saving a 22 -year -old woman stuck in a flood waters in Haydarabad Banjara Hills after a cloud explosion on August 7.

Despite the dangers of live electricity, open menhols and hidden trenches, Mr. Sridhar passed through the flood waters to reach a woman trembling and desperate at a bus stop.

He assured him, provided security, and reached his residence in Vanasthalipuram in the escort vehicle of Justice Shameem Akther, President of the Commission.

In an official letter of appreciation, he praised the courage and humanity of President Mr. Sridhar, and described his actions as çıkan reflecting the highest ideals of protecting human life by going beyond routine task ”. The Commission also recommended him for medal or award for recognizing his service.
