Ranveer Singh starrer blockbuster Dhurandhar continues its rise at both the domestic and international box office even on its ninth day on big screens across the world. According to a report by Sacnilk.com, the star-studded action-thriller has earned over Rs 290 million so far, breaking the record of the super romantic movie Saiyaara, which was released in July this year. Dhurandhar was released in theaters on December 5.

Sacnilk.com report says that as per initial estimates, Dhurandhar earned Rs 50.9 crore (net) in India on its second Saturday (December 13). The film achieved an overall occupancy rate of 66.09 percent in Hindi screenings on the ninth day since its release. It minted Rs 207.25 crore in its first week of release and collected Rs 32.5 crore on Day 8. By the latest figures, Dhurandhar beat Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda starrer Saiyaara, which collected 26.5 billion rupees (net) in India on its 9th day of release. This film, which also starred Rajesh Kumar and Varun Badola, earned a total of Rs 329.2 crore in the domestic market.
