Aditya Mangla appointed CEO of food delivery business at Eternal

ETERNAL LTD (formerly Zomato) appointed Aditya Mangla as the CEO of the food order and delivery business, and the company informed the stock exchanges on Sunday.

The appointment of Mangla was approved by the Board of Directors of the Company on July 6 and is valid for a period of two years. It will also be determined as senior management personnel (SMP).

He took over from Raqesh Ranjan, who completed his two -year period in the role. The Ethernal confirmed that Ranjan would be classified as SMP as of July 6, but will continue to be related to another capacity with the company.

Mangla is currently the head of the food order and delivery business in ETERNAL. He joined the company in March 2021, and since then he has played many roles, including the President of the Procurement and the Chairman of the Customer Experience. Before joining the ETERNAL, he worked in various products, marketing and P & L leadership roles in start and technology companies.

The company said that the appointment is compatible with the leadership transition plans and organizational structure in the food distribution vertical. The announcement follows the previous reports of Ranjan’s planned output.
