DAZN sign partnership with banned Trump-linked betting company

Sports entertainment giant DAZN, which owns Foxtel, has signed a partnership deal with a crypto betting site banned by Australia’s online gambling regulator.
Polymarket, which describes itself as a “predictions marketplace” rather than a betting platform, this week signed a deal with DAZN that will see the entertainment company fully integrated into its sports coverage.
Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan said in the joint press release that Polymarket will be built into the “direct user experience, from boxing to the Champions League,” meaning a viewer can bet using crypto on the DAZN platform.
