Tamil Nadu Assembly election 2026: Dairy farmers concerned over lack of attention to their core issues

Dairy farmers in the state are suffering due to lack of attention to the basic issues that concern them.

In its manifesto, DMK promised farmers that the purchase price will be increased by ₹5 per liter. However, according to MG Rajendran, general secretary of Tamil Nadu Milk Producers Welfare Association (TNMPWA), AIADMK, NTK and TVK did not state their stand on the issue in their manifestos.
