Teachers asked to wear black badge during Class 10 spot valuation

Andhra Pradesh Federation of Teachers’ Organizations (FAPTO) President Paltheru Srinivasa Rao on Sunday asked the government to appoint the 12th teacher^{Pay the Revision Commission immediately and announce 30% temporary aid to beat inflation.}

FAPTO convened its meeting and asked teachers to wear black badges while participating in spot assessment of Class 10 exam papers from Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rao said that teachers will organize an agitation on April 9.^{and insist on drawing the government’s attention to pending demands like revival of old pension scheme, exemption of teachers from non-teaching duties, deletion of gratuities, Provident Fund and other bills pertaining to retired teachers.}

FAPTO Secretary General Ch. Bhaskara Rao, Finance Minister D. Shyam and others were present.
