Techie Died By Suicide In Raidurgam

Hyderabad: A 40-year-old software engineer died by suicide at the Qualcomm campus in Raidurgam, police said.

The deceased was identified as Thiruveedi V. Avinash, an HCL employee working at the company’s office in the Qualcomm building. He is survived by his wife Jyothi and two young sons.

According to police, Avinash, who had been living in Bengaluru with his family for several years, was shifted to Hyderabad two months ago.

Police said Avinash sent a message from the office to his family informing them that he was leaving for home. When repeated phone calls went unanswered, family members contacted his manager and confirmed that Avinash had already left the office.

His brother-in-law then went to the HCL office, where he noticed a crowd had gathered on the campus. During the investigation, it was learned that one person died by suicide. He later identified the deceased as Avinash. Raidurgam police are investigating the circumstances leading to the incident.
