A teenager’s attempt to escape from the police was foiled due to collapsed fences. Warm Fuzzies-style mistake.

Footage shared by Cleveland Police shows two men on stolen bikes carrying out a suspected drug deal in Middlesbrough on Tuesday, July 21.

When a plainclothes officer entered to stop them, the duo fled the scene after failing to start the bike. One of the youths, who ran onto a nearby property, attempted to climb a fence; The fence quickly buckled and fell on them both.

“It’s a bad day for you,” an officer from the Middlesbrough Community Action Team and Task Force might be saying as he apprehends one of the suspects.

A 14-year-old boy was arrested for offenses including possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs and theft of a motor vehicle.
