Teen jailed in Dubai dies in London police chase

PA MediaA British teen, who was imprisoned in Dubai for having sexual intercourse with a 17 -year -old girl, died in a car accident three months after his release.
The 19 -year -old Marcus Fakana was a passenger in a vehicle falling in Tottenham in North London in the early hours of Friday. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries and then died.
Met police said that the officers were trying to stop a car, but after a short chase, they missed the vehicle and then collapsed.
During his relationship with the girl, Mr Fakana, 18 years old, was sentenced to one year in prison after Wasm was sentenced to a royal forgiveness from the Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum.
Radha Stirling, who was detained in his lawyer and Dubai Group, said, “He was grateful for the compassion shown to him by the British people, and his experiences gave him a renewed focus on Christianity and prayer.
“Marcus was grateful for gaining his freedom and he was looking forward to building a positive future.”
The girl’s mother in the relationship with Marcus reported to the authorities after seeing the messages between the two when she returned to England.
Stirling added: “Marcus spent most of this year in a Dubai prison, and undoubtedly caused him long -term mental anguish.
He continued: “It is sad that the entire 2025 is free for only three months from 3 July to 3 October.”
Met, civil servants at the scene before the medical officials “immediately first aid” said.
The force said, “The passenger, a 19 -year -old man, had important injuries.” He said.
“Despite the best efforts of emergency services and health personnel, he was taken to the hospital he died soon after.
He continued: “19 -year -old man, the driver, stopping and dangerous driving on suspicion of collision was arrested. Police remained in custody.”
