Telangana Govt Orders Major IAS Reshuffle, Key Transfers Announced

Hyderabad: The Telangana government has issued orders for major replacement of IAS and non-cadre officers, affecting multiple transfer, posting and additional pay (FAC) arrangements.

As per the GO issued by the General Administrative Department, several senior managers were reassigned to key positions across departments.

Senior IAS officer Sabyasachi Ghosh has been given the additional charge of Special Principal Secretary for Handicrafts, Textiles and Handlooms along with many other responsibilities. Shailaja Ramaiyer has been appointed as Secretary, Government, EPS&T Department, while Ahmad Nadeem has been appointed as Principal Secretary (Political), General Administration Department.

N. Sridhar has been appointed as Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, while Rahul Bojja, who returned from leave, has been appointed as Principal Secretary (Disaster Management).

Among other changes, M. Raghunandan Rao was given additional charge of Mining and Geology, B. Ajith Reddy was appointed CEO of Invest Telangana and Md. Musharraf Ali Faruqui has been given additional duty in TGREDCO.

Many other officers, including P. Katyayani Devi, K. Gangadhar and T. Venkanna, were also transferred and given new assignments.

The orders were given by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao.
