Telangana Rising 2047 – CM favours separate plans for core urban, peri urban and rural agro economies in the vision document

Hyderabad
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy suggested that plans to transform TG into a US$ 3 trillion economy should be divided into three broad categories: urban, peri-urban and rural.
Telangana Rising – 2047 vision document should include roadmap for developing Core Urban Region Economy (CURE), Peri Urban Region Economy (PURE) and Rural Agricultural Economy (RARE). The Prime Minister made this suggestion on the third day of review meetings on arrangements for the Telangana Rising global summit to be held on December 8 and 9.
The vision document, which will be published on December 9, describes the opportunities in Telangana, which is making rapid progress in different sectors. He wanted the vision document to clearly outline the government’s plans to develop the State to $1 trillion by 2034 and $3 trillion by 2047. He made various suggestions regarding the issues that should be included in the vision document.
Specific information regarding proposed development in the three areas must be disclosed in the document. Plans for the development of health, education, technology, pharmaceuticals, agriculture and the Gulf Cooperation Council should form part of the vision.
He specifically stated that infrastructure information and plans regarding road and port connections should have an important place. Steps should be taken to ensure adequate clarity on welfare, temple tourism, eco-tourism, energy and other key sectors. “The vision document should reflect a policy-based approach towards planned development in the future. It should assert that there is no policy paralysis in Telangana,” he said.
He instructed officials to ensure that the document includes plans to accommodate passenger amenities as well as cargo movement at the proposed new airports. “Care should be taken to ensure that the designs prepared to be included in the document are realistic,” he said.
