Telangana Rising delegation to aggressively promote the 2047 vision at WEF in Davos

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said the Telangana government will aggressively promote the Rise of Telangana 2047 vision at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum to be held in Davos in 2026 and will have a clear focus on achieving the ambitious target of transforming Telangana into a US$ 3 trillion economy.

The WEF annual meeting, themed ‘Spirit of Dialogue’, is scheduled to be held between 19-23 January 2026. The Prime Minister reviewed the investment proposals and commitments received during the State’s last two visits to the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos as well as investment proposals and commitments secured at the last Telangana Emerging Global Summit 2025.

He said the Telangana Rising delegation will present the state’s transformative roadmap to global investors, highlight the three-pronged economic growth strategy and build on Telangana’s strengths as one of the most developed states in the country.

He said the Telangana Rise delegation will focus on targeted engagements and investor outreach in Davos by presenting the State’s long-term development plans as outlined in the Telangana Rise vision document. The government aims to leverage the global platform to attract high-quality investments that can accelerate economic growth, create employment and strengthen Telangana’s position as a global investment destination.

Mr. Reddy asked officials to closely examine and follow up on investment commitments made during previous visits to Davos and the Telangana Emerging Global Summit. He instructed them to proactively communicate with investors and ensure that any outstanding issues or procedural hurdles are resolved as soon as possible to convert commitments into investments in place.
