Tens of thousands of child domestic abuse victims not supported enough, warns government tsar
A senior advocate leaves the victim of “tens of thousands of” children without the support that they have to get rid of domestic abuse from the government.

“Every day may be an anxious war for children with domestic abuse. Many are growing in homes where many rules have always changed, struggling to concentrate on school and do not know what destructive results will bring the next day.
“These children are our future – they need an ambitious plan of how to protect them from the government, and at the same time they deserve how other children aim to prevent them from growing in their homes. But this has not yet happened.
“It is an ambitious goal and a target that I applaud to violence against women and girls in ten years. However, the VAWG strategy is still delayed and I cannot see where the momentum in the government came from to ensure that this commitment was successful when a major fund for expert family abuse services.
“It is vital for the government to clearly reveal how it prevents overcoming and preventing domestic abuse as an urgency issue.
Last year, at that time, the Interior Minister Yette Cooper admitted that it would be difficult to reduce violence against women and girls. “Let’s be honest, an ambition that I haven’t realized before,” he said to a conference in Westminster.

A government spokesman told Independent: “In a decade, this government did an unprecedented duty to halve violence against women and girls.
