Tensions boil over in the I’m A Celeb camp as burnt rice leads to a war of words – before dramatic contraband scandal leaves one contestant with a huge decision

Things were heating up as I’m a Celebrity entered its third and final week with a jam-packed episode on Sunday.
A verbal fight broke out over burnt rice before a dramatic smuggling scandal left one contestant facing a big decision.
The episode opened with Shona and Lisa’s first morning as camp leader and helper, and they both woke up well-rested from a great night’s sleep in the comfort of the treehouse.
Eddie was in charge of the rice that morning, having been assigned cooking duty by Shona and Lisa the night before.
She confessed to Tom her new responsibility, “it was nervous because I live on my own.” ‘There’s no one to judge when you’re cooking for yourself.’
While the rice was cooking over the fire, Eddie went downstairs to take a shower. Bush told the Telegraph: ‘Breakfast is going well, the rice is almost gone. Me and Ruby got this under control.’
Things were heating up as I’m a Celebrity entered its third and final week with Sunday’s jam-packed episode; Eddie burned some rice, which led to a war of words.
More tension later, Shona entered the camp with a laminate in the middle of a contraband scandal while guiltily telling her campmates: ‘please don’t hate me…’
But it turns out the camp has other ideas about Eddie’s cooking abilities, as Kelly smells something burning…
Kelly told the Bush Telegraph: ‘He made the huge mistake of putting on the rice and going to the shower. ‘I watched him do it, I didn’t want to say anything because I can’t get involved, I have a feeling he’s going to be a bit crispy this morning!’
Apparently Ruby also had something to say about Vogue’s handling of the fire as she whispered to Ginge: ‘She destroyed it, she doesn’t know what she’s doing.’
As Vogue wittily replied: ‘Are you two kidding me?’ “Absolutely clueless,” Ginge whispered to Ruby as they giggled.
Not everyone was very impressed as they were served burnt rice for breakfast.
Jack joked: ‘This is Eddie’s first race, so he’s starting to warm up.’
Further agitated later, Shona entered the camp with a laminate while guiltily telling her campmates: ‘please don’t hate me…’
Laminate reported that contraband in the form of butter was found in the celebrity camp.
With Shona becoming camp leader, she had an important choice to make; He could either resign as leader or lose the two stars he earned at that day’s hearing as punishment for the contraband found in the camp.
Kelly told the Bush Telegraph: ‘He made the huge mistake of putting on the rice and going to the shower. I watched him do it, I didn’t want to say anything because I can’t get involved…’
Eddie was in charge of the rice that morning, having been assigned cooking duty by Shona and Lisa the night before.
Confessing, Shona told the camp, ‘I am not responsible for this, but I used it,’ and explained that the contraband in question was some butter he found in the food chest.
After celebrities concluded Alex could have been the one to sneak her in, Shona told the Bush Telegraph: ‘I don’t know where it came from but I saw it, my eyes lit up and I used it.’
Making the decision herself, Shona decided to abdicate her role as camp leader, with Aitch taking the large leaf Shona was using as a crown and setting it on fire.
The celebrities then voted to appoint a new camp leader, and Ruby won by a landslide.
He told his campmates: ‘Everything is about to change.’ camp ‘No more Miss Nice Guy!’ and demanded that Shona be his footstool, Aitch his entertainer, and Ginge his dancer.
Jack thought: ‘Ruby as a leader is pure madness. I think it is the craziest dictatorship the world has ever seen.’
Later, around the campfire, Aitch, Jack, and Ginge planned a rebellion against Ruby as the new leader of the camp. As Ginge whispered: ‘We stand against them’
Aitch agrees: ‘There’s a lot of stuff on my chest that needs to be removed.’
Jack said: ‘Long live the revolution!’
Additionally, later in the day, all the celebrities participated in the challenge to win each other’s letters from the camp called ‘Blender Defenders’.
In this, they managed to win ten out of eleven letters; Jack was the only celebrity who did not receive his letter.
On Friday night, former Lioness Alex Scott became the first contestant to be eliminated from the I’m a Celebrity category as she opened up about a ‘mentally challenging’ experience.
Alex, 41, was left vulnerable after favorite comedian Eddie Kadi, who was the first to leave, was exempt from the public vote for winning the live trial.
Apparently Ruby also had something to say about Vogue’s handling of the fire as she whispered to Ginge: ‘She destroyed it, she doesn’t know what she’s doing…’
The expert received great applause from his fellow campmates as he quickly grabbed his bag and left the I’m a Celebrity camp for the last time.
Speaking to Ant and Dec’s host, she said: ‘I’m free! It feels weird and doesn’t feel real. Now I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m out.’
Asked if he was ‘disappointed’ to be the first to be voted out, Alex insisted: ‘Oh no! It was an incredible experience and mentally tough, but I’m so glad I did it with so many wonderful camp friends.
‘The laughs we had and we really bonded and made the bonds we did.’
