“I think the only thing that changes with age is that you have a change in understanding. You understand what young women are because of your own values. You leave something.”

Throughout a career of twenty years – his first role was in Billy Budd, the 1962 masterpiece of Peter Ustinov, which won him an Oscar nomination – stamp definitely learned to “understand” women.

However, the truffle paste and special dinner with the royal family were the worlds other than Stamp’s childhood.

The largest of the five brothers was born to a solid working class house in Bow on the eastern end of London.

“My mother suffered greatly to keep us clean and dressed because she didn’t want people to know how poor we were.”

After leaving school, he worked in advertising before he received a scholarship to Drama College, and he quickly became an exciting, real young artist part of the real young artist – even shared accommodation with Michael Caine.

“Albert Finney and Peter O’tolele and others after breaking, this was what people wanted,” he said. “They didn’t care if you have a real working class accent or attitude. You don’t have to act like a middle class anymore.

“These days, fame was the first importance, the first important craft in the 1960s.”

Following his exciting return titled Billy Budd, he won a tremendous star for a decade (the best actor at the Cannes Film Festival), Ken Loach’s poor cow and the collector who was far from the crazy crowd.

However, after the collapse of high profile romanticism with Shrimpton, he withdrew from the spotlight at the closing of the 1960s, he went to India to shake London and shake yoga and experience “spiritual awakening”.

Until 1978 and Supervillain General Zod in Superman did not depict the appearance of Marlon Brando, he once again joined the headlines for acting mastery.
