TGNPDCL CMD Reviews Power Projects in Rajanna Sircilla
Rajanna Sircilla: TGNPDCL Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Karnati Varun Reddy on Friday visited Rajanna Sircilla district and reviewed the progress of ongoing power infrastructure projects and inaugurated various development works aimed at improving reliability and quality of electricity supply.
During the visit, Varun Reddy said that three new substations have been approved, two of which are under construction.
He also said that 15 of the proposed 19 bundle breakers have been commissioned and a new bundle crusher has also been commissioned at Marripalli Substation.
Varun Reddy said that the existing 3.15 MVA Power Transformer (PTR) at 33/11 kV Vattemla Substation has been successfully upgraded to 5 MVA Power Transformer.
He added that new agricultural energy connections are being provided to farmers under the Uniform Service Line Charges (USLC) scheme. He also said that the electricity distribution network was strengthened by erecting middle poles and replacing damaged poles.
The CMD directed officials to immediately resolve consumers’ complaints and plan for future power demand. He also instructed them to reduce power losses while ensuring a reliable and uninterrupted power supply.
