The bloodied face of school run mum severly injured in high speed smash with Rag n’ Bone Man’s wife – who’s NEVER said sorry or shown remorse, say family

This is the bloody face of a mother on the school run whose car was crashed at nearly 60 mph by the wife of award-winning singer Rag ‘n’ Bone Man.

Single parent Samantha Keen was carrying her three children when their vehicle was hit by a Range Rover that was stuck behind a tractor trying to illegally cross the traffic line.

The disappointed driver was Zoe Graham, 38, who is married to the singer of the 2016 global hit ‘Human’ and was late to pick up her own three children.

Ms Keen and her two daughters and a son were said to have survived the horrific incident in August 2023 and are still suffering the consequences.

Graham was spared a jail sentence after his victim’s family said he did not even apologize for his rash action.

Instead Judge David Rennie suspended a 12-month prison sentence for 18 months after Graham pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by careless driving.

She married the singer, whose real name is Rory Graham, two years ago and lives with him in a £1million country house with land nearby.

On the day of the accident, Ms Keen was taking her children to an animal rescue center when the Range Rover hit her from the side.

Zoe Graham, 38, was rushing to pick up her two sons when she tried to overtake a tractor on a “dangerous” road in East Sussex.

Graham illegally crossed the double white lines down the middle of a carriageway in an attempt to overtake cars stuck behind a tractor on a ‘dangerous’ section of road in East Sussex.

The defendant failed to see Ms Keen’s Ford C Max car, which was directly in her path as she attempted to turn right.

As a result the Range Rover crashed into the Ford at approximately 55mph, sending the Ford across the road and into a ditch as Mrs Keen’s children screamed in terror.

Ms Keen was so upset after her car went off the road near Ringmer in East Sussex that two off-duty paramedics who rushed to help her later recalled her shouting at them not to let her children die because she did not want them to be orphaned.

The mother of three children was raising her children alone after her husband committed suicide the previous year.

Ms Keen suffered a number of injuries including a broken ankle, serious soft tissue injury to her right side, cuts and bruises to her face and head, and damage to her right hip and leg.

Fearing that their mother would die, her three children suffered cuts and bruises on their faces, heads, arms and legs.

The stunning photograph, taken by Ms Keen’s father as she awaited discharge from hospital, shows her suffering from shock and concussion, with dried blood covering her head, face and chest.

A source said: ‘Zoe never apologized or attempted to apologize to Samantha and her family, even as she stood next to the stretcher in the A&E department of the hospital in Brighton.

‘Instead, he was making a fuss, saying he wanted to leave the hospital as soon as possible, and then left without being seen by medical staff.’

The source said: ‘Despite the overwhelming evidence against her, Zoe Graham pleaded not guilty to the charges and was subsequently able to drive at leisure for almost three years despite what she had done.

‘During this time, Samantha and her family, suffering from devastating medical problems and post-traumatic stress disorder, were trying to rebuild their lives.

‘The added stress of waiting for the court hearing caused further suffering to Samantha and her family.

‘Samantha has been unable to work due to her injuries and the financial impact has been terrible. ‘He now has lifelong injuries to deal with while trying to care for his three children.’

The source said the horrific crash happened just months after Ms Keen’s husband Jason, 35, died by suicide after struggling with serious mental health problems for several years.

The source said: ‘Samantha and the children were clearly devastated by their loss in 2022. Samantha hoped summer holidays would give her a chance to create happy memories with her children as a way to rebuild from their recent trauma.

‘All children love animals and he was taking them to Raystede Animal Welfare Center for a nice day out.

‘The CCTV video of the accident is shocking. ‘It was clearly a careless maneuver on a dangerous road.’

The source added: ‘It’s heartbreaking to hear what this family is going through. ‘Samantha and her children’s grandparents have been a tower of strength for them.’

Graham broke down in tears as he told the judge how sorry he was for causing the accident.

Ms Keen said everything turned white and then black and when she came to she couldn't feel her legs.

Sobbing uncontrollably, she told Judge David Rennie that she was late to pick up her own children, saw the slow-moving tractor in front of her and thought it was safe to overtake, although she acknowledged seeing the double white lines.

She said she had been subjected to domestic violence for nine years from her ex-partner, who had deliberately made her late to pick up her children in the past, which led to her anxiety about being late.

But the source said: ‘Zoe Graham could have apologized to Samantha and the children at any time in the last three years. Instead, he reserved his words for the judge in an attempt to avoid jail. ‘The family thinks it’s terrible.’

Hove Crown Court heard compensation for the accident will be assessed by the civil court at a later date.

Graham has three children from a previous relationship, and her singer husband has a son.
